Experience the magic of Whitewater in a whole new light with a guided sunset hike led by Judson Wright from Kootenay Backcountry Guides on September 7. This unique adventure starts at 6:00pm and will take you on a 4.5km journey with 450m of elevation gain, all at a relaxed pace, perfect for soaking in the natural beauty around you.
As you ascend, Judson will share his expertise in the native flora, helping you to connect with the rich ecosystem that thrives in the Whitewater area. Once at the summit, you'll spread out your picnic blanket, settle in under the emerging stars, and embark on a stargazing session. Judson will guide you through the constellations, teaching you how to identify the shapes and stories that have fascinated humankind for millennia.

Each package includes 1 Sunset & Stargazing Hike Registration Fee & 1 night at the accommodation of your choice (September 7), which covers up to 4 people per forest campsite, 8 people per RV campsite, or 6 people in the suite. If multiple hike participants plan to stay together at the same campsite or suite, only one person in the group needs to buy the package; the others can simply purchase their event registration. Family and friends not participating in the hike are welcome to stay at the campground or suite under the package purchased by a registrant.
