Join us on July 27 at the Hummingbird Lodge for the inaugural Raven Ridge Run, an exhilarating trail running race at Whitewater in association with the Nelson Running Club.
Whether you're a novice trail runner or are looking to push your limits, this race offers the perfect blend of challenge and adventure, all up in the beautiful alpine!
The 10km Route costs $25 to run and the 15km Route costs $35. All Race Registration Fees include a barbecue lunch at the Hummingbird Lodge following the race.
10km Route
Ideal for those seeking a shorter yet thrilling challenge, with 550m of elevation gain, this route will take you up into the alpine, offering the stunning views that make this race so special.
Starting at the Hummingbird Lodge, you'll make your way up the White Queen West Ridge Trail and back down the Silver King Trail to the Hummingbird Lodge.
Registration for the 10km run costs $25.
15km Route
For those ready to tackle a longer, more demanding course, the 15km route will push you to new heights, literally and figuratively, as you ascend to peaks and navigate through diverse terrain, reaching 865m of elevation gain.
Continuing past the 10km route turn-off, you'll soak up all of the views as you tackle the West Ymir Trail and Prospector Trail before taking the Summit Trail back down to the Hummingbird Lodge.
Registration for the 15km run costs $35.

All Race Registration Fees include a barbecue lunch at the Hummingbird Lodge following the race, and admission to the barbecue for those not participating in the race can be purchased on the day of the Raven Ridge Run.
You'll get a hot dog or hamburger, a bag of chips, and a pop for $12, plus we'll have great live music to keep the festival vibe going all afternoon!
10km Race Packages
Race packages include 1 Race Registration Fee & 2 nights at the accommodation of your choice (July 26 & 27), which covers up to 4 people per forest campsite, 8 people per RV campsite, or 6 people in the suite. If multiple race registrants plan to stay together at the same campsite or suite, only one person in the group needs to buy the package; the others can simply purchase their race registration. Family and friends not participating in the race are welcome to stay at the campground or suite under the package purchased by a registrant.

Race registrants must be 19 years of age or older. This is a cupless event, so please bring a bottle to refill at our water stations. There will be no refunds for confirmed registrations.
