Join us on July 20 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm for Brushes & Brews, an exciting new watercolour art session at the Hummingbird Lodge!
Unleash your creativity with the guidance of Josie Michaud, a former Whitewater Artist in Residence and talented Kootenay artist.
Whether you're an experienced painter or a complete beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to explore your artistic side and build your confidence with watercolours in a fun and relaxed setting.
What's Included
Registration for Brushes & Brews costs $65 and includes the following:
• 3 hours of expert instruction, demo, and assistance from Josie Michaud
• All necessary supplies: paper, brushes, paint
• A vibrant, supportive atmosphere
• One 16oz pint to enjoy while you create your masterpiece

This is more than just an art session; it’s a chance to connect with fellow art enthusiasts, share an ice-cold pint, and take home a piece of your own original alpine art.

Not quite ready to take your masterpiece home? Check out our camping packages so you can spend the weekend up in the alpine enjoying the brushes and the brews without worrying about the drive back to town.
Each package includes 1 Brushes & Brews Registration Fee & 1 night at the accommodation of your choice (July 20), which covers up to 4 people per forest campsite, 8 people per RV campsite, or 6 people in the suite. If multiple workshop participants plan to stay together at the same campsite or suite, only one person in the group needs to buy the package; the others can simply purchase their event registration. Family and friends not participating in the workshop are welcome to stay at the campground or suite under the package purchased by a registrant.
